I recently completed the 6 week beginners course, run excellently by Layla and Ferret. I cannot recommend this course enough. It was the perfect re/introduction to yoga and teaches how yoga is so much more all-encompassing than just stretching. I left every session feeling both tired and invigorated, feeling like I’d been pushed to achieve my best and improve my form whilst also keen to continue practicing in my own time. Layla and Ferret were both excellent teachers and made us feel at ease with being beginners, guiding us through sun salutations, key poses and modifications for our specific bodies. Each session also had a focus on breath work, and the wider yogic philosophies so we could feel the fuller mental and emotional benefits of yoga alongside the bodily ones. If you’re considering taking up yoga but are worried about committing straight to a studio membership then I definitely recommend this course!
