 Suzie Hurley has practiced yoga and meditation since 1977. She holds an Advanced 500 hour Kripalu certificate, studied and practiced the Iyengar system for 16 years and was a Senior Certified Anusara teacher for 14 years. Her 38 years of yoga practice also includes a E-500 RYT hour Certificate from Yoga Alliance. Suzie is the former Director/Owner of the Willow Street Yoga Center in Takoma Park, MD. which she opened in 1994, and sold to her son Joe and daughter in law, Natalie in 2012. Her clear and precise teaching style is balanced with fun and authenticity. Often told that her own essence is joy, Suzie's teaching is enthusiastic and inspirational.
