Having been referred for yoga classes by my physiotherapist in 2016, I soon started to feel the physical benefits. What I wasn’t expecting were the mental and emotional benefits. Within a few weeks of a regular yoga practice, I was feeling happier and calmer in my everyday life as a busy mum and things just didn’t get to me as much as they may have done before. I was hooked and wanted to learn more!Countless yoga classes, a 200hr teacher training course with Yoga Ananda and two trips to India later, I’m excited to share what I have learnt.In this class, I will guide and support you through the classic yoga postures, offering variations to suit your ability.We will follow a similar sequence every week which will help you to track your progress and to become more familiar and comfortable with each of the postures.We will start and end the class with a lovely long relaxation in Savasana. Whether you’ve never tried yoga before or you’re a regular yogi, I look forward to welcoming you to my class. Katrina x
