Great final Wednesday swim of the year
I’ve been doing more Technique sessions since my endless pool one one. The Technique sessions give me more time to focus on the learning points from the one to one. They’re always interesting.., last night we did a new (to me) drill: scull one into swimming into scull. It feels like it helped me connect the “feel” of sculling into my front crawl stroke.
Can’t recommend Jason’s endless pool sessions enough. The go pro camera as opposed to fixed ones was far superior capturing my daughter’s stroke from multiple angles.
While Jason’s technical knowledge was excellent, he kept the feedback simple and clear prescribing a four drills each building on the previous.

Excellent 1-2-1 session this morning. Jason gave me several drills and visualisation techniques, to hopefully improve my stroke. Excited to see if I can consolidate these changes - very handy that this will be backed up with the current squad focus. Thanks very much Jason

Brilliant 1-2-1 endless pool video analysis coaching session today. After the recording, Jason went through the whole video step by step, analysing different parts of the stroke. I was then able to see exactly what I was doing wrong. Jason explained clearly how to correct the position of my hands and what drills would benefit me. By the end of the session my stroke had already improved!

Attending South West Swim’s Monday Technique & Fitness Session was an absolute game-changer for my swimming! The session kept me on my toes from start to finish, with the use of tempo trainers ensuring I maintained a strong and consistent pace. The precision of the beeps every second length really pushed me to focus on both technique and endurance, keeping the session dynamic and engaging.
The coaching was outstanding, with expert guidance that challenged me to refine my strokes while building fitness. I left the pool feeling energised, accomplished, and already looking forward to my next session. If you’re serious about improving your swimming, this is the place to do it. Highly recommended!
Simple session with repeating blocks - and easy to keep working. I did ok on the 4x100 at CSS but we didn’t manage to stick with the tempo pace on the longer swims very well today - I was focusing on improving my rotation so felt I got a lot out of the swim.
