Moving Away From Osteoporosis With Evidence-Bases Practices 6 Week Series
Feb 1, 2025 - Mar 8, 2025

Catie Holzer RYT 500. 150 hr. TIYT

Catie Holzer specializes in enhancing movement for longevity functioning. Catie has trained in multi-disciplines of movement and brings a wide range of movement tools to both her private clients as well as her public classes.

Affecting millions of Americans, Osteoporosis serves as a signpost of interrupting movement. As bone density decreases and becomes brittle, Osteoporosis creates issues surrounding movement that spirals into a condition called fragility syndrome.

Currently there is a growing body of evidence based on long-term studies showing specific lifestyle changes including movement practices which can impact both prevention and slowing of aging factors.

The workshop will primarily focus on our skeletal structure related to Osteoporosis as well as other related areas of the anatomy will be briefly included. Easy movement practices will be interlaced within the class that lead to both prevention and slowing down bone loss that leads to Osteoporosis.
