Why does a sense of unity, belonging and understanding seem to bring about healing, or, at least offer the avenue through which this can take place? Oh, sorry, were you looking for an answer? I don't have one. I just know that being with people who are compassionate, understanding and willing to walk through difficult situations, shoulder to shoulder, has been transformative in my life and I have watched it produce untold changes in theirs as well. I am happy to open up a space for us to stand together, bring what we have to the circle and hear one another. Our time will include physical activity, honest sharing, breathwork and meditation, somatic release and mindful techniques that will help us look directly at things we have been carrying around and let them go. This gathering is about support, acceptance and accountability.

We explore the Tantric yoga teachings of the triad of the goddess, each of whom represent an important part of who we are as humans, and both the struggles and joys that we face. Tantric teachings are a powerful lens to help us reflect on our lives with wisdom and grace.
This workshop is primarily asana based. We will explore specific alignment teachings to help support greater depth and skill in our yoga practice, as well as reflecting on the teachings through myth, contemplation and journaling. This workshop is designed as a comprehensive set of teachings that begin on Friday evening and continue through to Saturday afternoon. A healthy and delicious lunch will be provided on Saturday. We complete our time together with a restorative yoga practice accompanied by a gentle and soothing sound bath experience from Sound Healing practioner, Stephen Reynolds.
This is an all-levels practice, though some experience with yoga is highly recommended. Please bring a journal and any props that you might like to have for support during the practices and the sound bath.
