Come and explore the positive transformation a regular yoga practice can have on how you feel about yourself. Low self esteem can have a devastating effect and is more common than you may think. So if your inner critic has ever held you back, ground you down, made you anxious or depressed, then this is for you. During this workshop we will use yoga attitudes, the Niyamas, to develop an inner dialogue that nourishes, challenges and encourages.

Soften & Release with Diana | Sunday 27th April 2025 | 2-4pm.
Soften and Release
What would it feel like to soften the grip and release what no longer serves you? We will explore this in a two-hour workshop.
When we have a lot going on and are feeling busy and stressed, we can hold onto tension in the body without even being aware of it. This can result in a feeling of tightness and constriction in the both the body and the mind.
Join me for two hours on a Sunday afternoon to soften the body and mind to release tension and holding.
During the workshop I will guide you through:
A really gentle slow flow class to release tension, suitable for beginners
Relaxing in restorative posesinviting the body to soften and be supported with the use of props
A guided meditation themed around letting go of what you no longer want or need to hold on to
Use of therapeutic sounds to bring you to a place of softness and deep relaxation
Yummy nourishing snacks to end.

Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation and translates to 'yogic sleep'.
It is a practice for everyone and is usually practiced lying down in any comfortable position with props and blankets.
Yoga Nidra draws our awarness inwards, to explore that liminial space between wakefulness and sleep.
Taking this time out of your day to simply rest into a deeper state of blissful awareness.

These monthly stillness sessions that bring together the practices of Yin Yoga Nidra and Sound are open to all.
The 3 practices combine to still the body and quieten the mind.
Susan, Eimear and Ciara blend their offerings to foster a sense of connection to yourself. There is no movement involved and no prior experience of yoga is needed.
The session starts with a short meditation before Susan guides you through 20 minutes of Yin. Eimear will then guide you into a 20 minute Yoga Nidra finishing with Ciara with a Sound Bath offering.
All 3 practices give you time for yourself.
Research has shown that spending time like this can support your
nervous system to regulate and move into the parasympathetic system
of rest digest and connect.
