
This class is designed for the first-time student, or those with some belly dance experience who are interested in returning to the dance. Habiba will guide you through technique essential to the dance. Glide across the floor with elegance as you frame your body with beautiful hand and arm movements; learn shimmies both soft and powerful; hypnotic movements of the hips such as figure eights, and undulations. Set to the exciting rhythms of North Africa and the Middle East, students will learn a fun choreography incorporating these techniques. Belly dancing is a great low-impact workout, suitable for all sizes and ages. Classes are uplifting and fun!

Mati will share a mix of simple meditative practices that will help you “come back to your senses”. Whether you want to begin a regular meditation practice or are a seasoned meditator who is looking to invigorate an established practice, this workshop will provide time to cultivate loving presence within our blissful beloved community.
Mati has been teaching yoga and meditation for a lifetime now, continually drawing on the refuge of her daily practice. Her highest aspirations are to stretch, strengthen and serve.

Join Alithia for a special yoga class with Latin music and dance movements. Whether you are new to Latin dancing or are experienced, this class is guaranteed to leave you with a smile while generating some heat. The class will be filled with movement and some basic dance steps, but mostly smiles and laughs.
