Ecstatic dance is a freeform movement journey where you can explore and express yourself through dance. The music guides you through different rhythms and energies, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the experience.
The intention of ecstatic dance is to create a space of presence, fostering curiosity about the patterns held in our bodies and minds that keep us separate and hold us back from our expression. In this space, one can accept and release feelings of shame and judgment, entering into a state of loving acceptance of one’s body and wholeness.

YOGA 101:The Basics

This Yoga 101:The Basics workshop is for beginners or someone who
has never taken a yoga class but has always been interested. Have
you been scared to walk into a yoga studio or class due to the fear
of not knowing the lingo or poses? This workshop is for you!
We will go over basic breathwork/breathing exercises that can be
used on and off the mat. Including breakdown/review of the basic
yoga poses you might hear in a typical class, there will be light
yoga flow + physical movement.
What to Expect:
Hour 1 - Intro to (Nose) Breathing, starting with seated movement
coordinated with breath. Intro to 3 Part Breath and Sun A
Variation, Down Dog, Table Top, Child's Pose.
Hour 2 - Intro to Sama Vritti “Box Breathing” and Intro to Warrior
Poses, Cool Down Options and Savasana.
*Class engagement encouraged- ½ will be discussion learning poses
and breath and 1/2 will be utilized to practice. This will not be
designed to be an hour flow yoga class, this is like the
prerequisite to a yoga class :) the things you need to go to that
full hour yoga class and help you feel prepared and more confident
to practice in community or take the tools to use in at home
practice.

Join Amanda for a Kundalini Yoga Series utilizing the energy of the monthly Full Moon. This workshop includes journaling, monthly stones, Kundalini Kriyas and Meditations to release, discard and fine tune monthly goals & intentions.
Cost: $35 per session

$30 per session; Join Melody for an evening of soothing sound and breath work, the 3rd Sunday of each month, 7:15-8:45pm.
As we find stillness, we will soften and release into sound using a variety of instruments including crystal and metal singing bowls. The vibration will permeate our bodies and spirits as it dissolves any lingering tension and allows us to soften more deeply into our selves and into the moment.
The sound bath will be split up into 20 minute increments with time for silence and integration in between.
Bring pillows, props, blankets and anything else you'd like to feel cozy!

We will be hosting a book club every other month, hosted by Dana & Julie, held at Trailside Yoga Studio. Each month we will discuss a new chosen book.
