Students learn breath awareness to calm the mind & body, as well as beginner-friendly yoga poses in six, 45 minute sessions
Great for students of any age (as long as they can remain quiet for up-to 3 minute meditations, breathing exercises and a short Savasana)
To build breath awareness, strengthening, lengthening and balance, poses will be taught independently for the first few classes, then we will work on partner poses
*Students must be able to safely get up and down to the floor (no worries...yoga mats, studio props & blankets are always available for free at The Yoga Factory)

This online course can be completed leading up to or following our in person hours during our YTT weekend at The Yoga Factory.
- 20hrs Yoga Alliance Continuing Education: This is a Yoga Alliance accredited course that can be applied as 20hrs of YACE.

Addie-Grace
discovered yoga at a young age and experienced firsthand the
immense benefits of these lifelong tools. Driven by a passion to
share these benefits with today's young hearts, she has dedicated
over a decade to teaching youth yoga across diverse demographics,
settings, and roles.
Her extensive experience includes working as a youth yoga
coordinator and co-founding Bright Yogis, an after-school yoga
program in Columbus. Addie-Grace’s expertise and commitment make
her an invaluable resource for those looking to start a youth yoga
business or simply bring the many benefits of yoga to children and
teens.

Join Liz for this comprehensive Teacher Training with a deep dive into using props in Yoga classes. Using props can help students feel more supported and empowered with their practice and can aid with injury and limited mobility to keep your Students practicing safely.
The class will be a blend of practice and lecture and we will cover the following modalities:

Chair Yoga
Wall as a prop
Blanket folding
Using household items for props
