Welcome to The Music Factory's Introductory Music Course: Exploring the World of Music after school at Mcgilvra Elementary!

We encourage all students of Mcgilvera to sign up for 1 on 1 lessons at The Music Factory. In our 16 years in Madison Valley we have taught 1000’s of families, and kids.

 Course Overview:

This special course for students of ALL AGES is designed to introduce students to the wonderful world of music, covering a broad spectrum of musical styles and instruments. Under the guidance of our dedicated Music Factory-appointed teachers, students will embark on a musical journey that includes:

Sing-Alongs: Engage with music actively and joyfully through group singing sessions, exploring a variety of genres.

Instrumental Basics: Get a taste of the instruments that form the backbone of a rock band, jazz ensemble, and orchestra. From the guitar's strings to the trumpet's brass, discover the sounds and roles of different instruments.

Listening Assignments: Develop your ear and deepen your appreciation of music with curated listening tasks that highlight key elements of various musical styles.

Fundamentals of Music: Dive into the essentials of rhythm, harmony, melody, and storytelling through music. These core concepts will serve as your foundation for understanding and enjoying music on a deeper level.

Adaptive Learning: Recognizing that each student's musical interests and talents are unique, The Music Factory staff is prepared to tailor the course content to meet the evolving needs of the class.
