Cacao Ceremony + Sound Bath
Feb 2, 2025 - Feb 2, 2025

5 to 7pm, 3rd fl

The break of dawn and twilight of the night are the quiet peaks of change upon us. Grounding into ourselves Andrea will guide the cacao circle with the intention to embrace the ups and downs of life. Ignite your brave soul while melting into the drumming of your heartbeat with a motivational sound bath.

Want to know a little more?
The cacao we are sharing is 100% pure cacao, Fair Trade, Ixmucane Cacao blessed by and from the Indigenous Mayan Tz'utujil people in Guatemala.

Cacao is a meditation tool and a gift to humanity. Cacao circles were community gatherings within the Mayan and other indigenous peoples to connect with the inner spiritual world, opening the mind to the divine wisdom of the heart and to be together as one humanhood. Cacao meditations were guided by the Mayan lunar calendar, Chol Q'ij. It follows a 20 day cycle with each day being protected and guided by a guardian energy, nawal. Each nawal has a primary energy, emotion, element and animal spirit.

On this day, we will connect to the Mayan Lunar energy of Aq’ab’al , the bat and the mackaw. They represent peaks before the blessings, the light always upon us, embracing and balancing of duality, masculine and feminine energies, dark and light, day and night, cycles and transitioning. Set the intention for smooth transitions in life.

How to prepare?
Dress comfortably.
Have your last full meal at least 2 hours before.
Limit your caffeinated drinks.
Bring your special mug if you have one. We will have cups if you don’t have a mug.
Feeling inspired, bring any special items you would like energetically charged like crystals, meditation beads, musical instruments, altar items, etc.

How can you contribute?
Bring flowers, fruits or sweets to share on the flower altar.
