Intro to Meditation: a 4-Week Online Series with Erin Joosse

Tuesdays, May 6<span dir="ltr">th</span>-27<span dir="ltr">th</span>

6-7:30pm PST

Note*: This series will be held ONLINE

“Meditation helps us defuse stress, experience greater tranquility, find a sense of wholeness, strengthen our relationships, and face our fears. Meditation helps sharpen focus, lower blood pressure, and reduce chronic pain. Meditation helps protect the brain against aging and improves our capacity for learning new things. And it's as easy as sitting down and taking a breath.”

- Real Happiness, by Sharon Salzberg

In this 4 week online series, Erin will guide you through developing a meditation practice and learning how to navigate the challenges that arise when we begin. We will explore the benefits of meditation, developing concentration and learning to steady the mind, deepening awareness of your body, thoughts, and emotions, cultivating compassion, and how to keep the practice going.

Included will be recorded meditations so you can practice at home.

Beginners are especially welcome, as are those wishing to deepen their practice.
