Pretty Metal Chains invites you to take the next step into your unique Aerial Chain journey. This workshop will offer a short refresher on what you learned in Intro to Chains/Heavy Metals then we will explore more foundational techniques such as transitions, new shapes and dynamics to explore, and will end with a short choreography.
What to Expect:
Learn Aerial Chain Techniques: In this workshop, we will explore new shapes including optional drops. This workshop will also teach how to incorporate proper cues for seamless transitions, making movements safe and fluid.
Creative Expression: Explore your creativity as you continue to explore with the chains and display stunning poses, sequences, and dynamic movements.
Guidance from a Professional: Pretty Metal Chains, is known for their passion and expertise in aerial chains. Lily and Anna will lead the workshop and secure a safe and welcoming learning environment.
Inclusive: While some aerial experience is required, all bodies and skill levels are welcome to the workshop as Pretty Metal Chains offers an encouraging space to progress and explore aerial chains.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite of “Intro to Chains” workshop, “Intro to Heavy Metals”, or the ability to invert on single chain, invert on double chains, and gazelle (leg hang)
What to bring:
Foot Protection — dance heels, closed toe boots/shoes, or long
socks advised but not required.

This workshop is a beginner to intermediate class that focuses on tricks and transitions that look swift or difficult but are actually deceptively simple. This is a great way for dancers to add accents and drama to any piece. All work is done on static pole.
Requirements: All pole dancers welcome

This intermediate to advanced workshop is focused on crowd pleasing, fierce transitions and tricks. This one is meant to give your audience goosebumps when you perform. Learn how to safely move with power from moves on to off the pole, and vice versa!
