**LOOKING
FOR SOMETHING FUN, WHOLESOME & UPLIFTING FOR NEW YEAR'S
EVE??**
Paul and
Chiraswa are hosting a little new year's eve event at Satyam, just
from 7.30pm - 10.30pm, for a session that moves through a wave,
from yoga asana, into dance, then pranayama and conscious rest
(yoga nidra) and meditation, all set to a carefully curated
soundtrack of musical delights. A conscious way to bring 2024 to an
end, and have you in bed by midnight (or onto another
party...)
Baby yoga incorporates gentle stretching and movements with song. It helps build coordination and balance whilst assisting babies’ physical, emotional and social development. It can also be useful in aiding digestive or sleeping difficulty.
The yoga for the parents focuses on strengthening core muscles, improving posture and balance, relieving the common postnatal aches and pains, and of course enjoying a deep relaxation with our babies at the end of each class.
Please contact us for concessions.
What Is the Red Tent?
The Red Tent is a sacred, nurturing space where women of all ages
come together to reconnect with their natural cycles and honour the
wisdom held within their bodies. Rooted in ancient traditions, it
is a space for rest, reflection, and nourishment, embracing the
cyclical essence of womanhood.
This gathering celebrates every stage of the menstrual journey, from menarche to menopause, whether through a physical womb or the energetic memory of one (etheric womb). Through rituals, sharing circles, and practical activities, we explore the physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of our cycles, fostering inner nourishment and self-discovery.
Winter Energy and the Full Moon in Cancer
Winter invites us to rest, retreat, and align with our natural
rhythms. It is a season of stillness and reflection, often at odds
with the demands of the external world. The Full Moon in Cancer
amplifies this need for connection and self-care, nurturing us to
embrace our emotions and relationships.
This Red Tent gathering offers a sacred pause to honour the quiet power of winter, replenish our energy, and set the stage for a year filled with balance and intention.
Session Overview: Conversations with the Sacred Womb
This Red Tent gathering follows a three-part flow:
1. Creating Sacred Space
Ritual: We will begin by invoking the four directions and elements,
creating a universal “womb” space that is both sacred and
inclusive. This grounding ritual sets the tone,
aligning us with the nurturing energy of the womb. Theme
Introduction: Participants will reflect on the womb as the seat of
creation—whether physical or energetic—and
explore the wisdom and stories it holds.
2. Sacred Speech and Deep Listening
Sharing Circle: A guided conversation will invite participants to
connect with their wombs, sharing insights, emotions, or stories
that arise. Ritual: The Sacred Womb Ceremony will deepen this
connection with guided visualisation, a womb prayer, and a
gentle blessing ritual to awaken the sacred feminine within.
3. Healing Practices and Cyclical Activities
Flower Essence Creation: Participants will craft personalised
flower essences using Dr. Bach’s methods. Intuitive flower cards
will guide their choices, aligning with emotional and energetic
needs for the year ahead. Self-Care Recipe: A simple rose-based
cleanser recipe will be shared to inspire daily self-care rituals.
Breathwork and Affirmations: The session will conclude with Full
Moon Breathwork and guided affirmations focused on gratitude,
release, and manifestation.
All materials will be provided.

This course is available to women and their babies who have had their 6 week postnatal checkup and are given the go -ahead to begin gentle exercise. You can, of course, come along without your baby if you have someone to look after them.
Pilates is great for strengthening your core and helping to regain your pre-pregnancy abdominal strength. Most importantly, we will be focussing on strengthening the pelvic floor and lower abdominals. You will work up slowly and safely.
It is also good for your mental health and general well-being. An opportunity to leave the house with or without your baby and meet other women in the same situation.
Sometimes you will get little done, especially if babies need feeding, but you will still be able to gain knowledge of the moves and practice later at home. It is also a great opportunity to bond with your baby and make connections with other new mums. Often, the postnatal classes are a woman’s first insight into this practice.
