Shaunna will lead you through a gentle warm-up yoga practice,
bringing you into standing movements.
Once standing, we will explore more traditional yoga movements, as
well as movements from practices such as tai chi. Then we will
begin to tie in light dance movements guided by the teacher.
Then the music will turn on and the talking will be minimal for 20
minutes. We will just dance our hearts out! Then we will enjoy
along Savasana at the end of practice with a lavender towel on our
forehead, and a short sound healing at the end!

Vedic astrology — known as Jyotish, or “the science of light” — is one of the oldest living wisdom traditions on earth, offering a profound map of the soul's journey through time and incarnation.
In this introductory evening, we'll explore the sacred foundations of Vedic astrology: how it differs from Western astrology, the significance of the planets, signs, and houses, and how this ancient system can offer meaningful insight into who you are and where you're headed.
No prior astrology knowledge needed — just an open mind and a curiosity about the cosmos.
Whether you're brand new to astrology or looking to deepen your spiritual toolkit, this evening offers a grounded and reverent entry point into a system that has guided seekers for thousands of years.
What to expect: An overview of Jyotish · Key differences from Western astrology · The planets & their meanings · Space for questions & reflection
May 29th, 6-7:30 p.m.
Hosted by Rising Tide Wellness
This workshop is an invitation to come home to your highest self. Together, we’ll begin with guided pranayama (breath practices) to clear the mind, open the body, and awaken your inner energy. From there, you’ll be guided into an extended savasana, where Katrina will immerse you in the healing vibrations of crystal singing bowls and gong.
The journey shifts brainwaves from Beta — the state of stress, worry, and activity — into Theta, the realm between waking and dreaming, where deep relaxation, restoration, and inner peace reside. This process is profoundly calming and can support emotional balance, mental clarity, and physical healing. Come with an open heart, comfortable clothing, and a willingness to rest deeply. You’ll leave feeling nourished, renewed, and at ease.
Katrina & Shaunna will create space for a Women's Moon Circle. Come at 5pm for snack potluck!
The Circle will include discussion, journaling, meditation, breathing, movement, and sharing the power of words in circle. During the circle we will work with Moon phase releasing the shadow side of the signs involved, and integrating/embodying the light side.
Every Moon is different and invites us to look at ourselves from a different perspective as we journey on the path to continue our growth. Feel free to bring any offerings or special objects to place on our collective altar.
Remember your journal and pen, tea will be provided. Bring a light snack to share is encouraged but not necessary (come early for snacks/potluck).
This will be a sliding scale event for $11-44.
Summer Solstice Mini-Retreat Workshop
Led by Katrina Cantu
The Summer Solstice is a beautiful invitation to pause, shift from the ordinary, and try something new. It’s a time to embrace new perspectives and step into fresh energy.
In this special workshop, Katrina Cantu will introduce you to Kriya Yoga, an ancient meditation and breath practice known for its ability to rapidly accelerate spiritual growth. Through physical movement, breathwork, and chanting, this class is designed to help you clear away inner blockages and open your body, heart, and mind to deeper awareness.
The Solstice marks a turning point—the perfect moment to release, realign, and reawaken. Together on our mats, we’ll create space for transformation. As we carry our practice off the mat and into our lives, we may begin to see subtle shifts and meaningful changes unfolding.
Be curious. Be brave. Step out of your comfort zone. Be the change you wish to see.
Please bring:
-
A yoga mat
-
A journal
-
A special item for the communal altar (optional)
We'll also enjoy light refreshments near the end—feel free to bring something to share if you’d like!
