To provide opportunities for youth ages 6 and up to build on the
skills learned in the Essentials class. These Rebels are moving on
from individual obstacle progression practice toward a ‘strength
and strategy’ based class focused on linking obstacles, strength
training and developing strategies to complete weekly courses. This
class will also be the training grounds for our Rebel Ninja
Competitive Team which houses Club (athletes competing at our
in-house events) Provincial (athletes competing at events within
Ontario) and National Ninjas (athletes competing in national
championships and in the U.S)
We recommend completing at least one Essentials block before
registering for the Momentum track and encourage individuals who
are looking to build on their existing skill set of linking
together obstacles to enroll in this class.
The class flow will feature a structure that is more like a
competitive training session using the following blocks:
Joint Prep Warm Up
Trunk Stability and Strengthening
Agility, Balance, Coordination and Movement Prep
Drills and Strategy
Obstacle Course Practice
Bodyweight Strength Training
