AGES 7-9
This class will combine the basics of both strength + conditioning and speed development! Athletes will build strength, coordination, and confidence through games, challenges, and skill practice. Each session blends playful warm-ups, skill-based drills, and primal movements like squats, lunges, pushes, pulls, jumps, and carries. Athletes develop agility, balance, and body awareness while exploring loaded, odd, and awkward objects to keep things exciting.
The will also learn to run faster, stop quicker, and move with confidence. Each session blends playful warm-ups, sprint prep, dynamic running drills, and safe top-speed sprints with acceleration, deceleration, and plyometric challenges. Perfect for building speed, agility, and game-ready skills — all while having fun!
AGES 10-13
The Youth Strength and Conditioning Essentials training program is designed for youth ages 9 to 13 and focuses on the essentials of strength and conditioning training. Rebels will learn how to develop the proper training habits and primal movement techniques for safe, effective and long-term strength development.
This course is designed specifically for youth athletes aged 8-14 who want to enhance their speed and agility. Our program emphasizes strengthening connective tissue through targeted exercises that enhance the body's ability to withstand the forces involved in sprinting, acceleration, and deceleration, promoting greater stability and reducing injury risk.
Building on this foundation we’ll then work on proper running mechanics, explosive acceleration, high velocity deceleration and speed endurance through engaging drills and activities.
Each week, athletes will experience dynamic training sessions that integrate speed and reaction drills including agility drills, plyometric exercises, and strength-building activities that foster growth and confidence in a competitive environment.
Speed, Agility, Coordination and Strength Assessment and Key Performance Indicator(KPI) reports are included.
