Find your flow in your everyday life by attending Dance Therapy sessions 'WU TAO - The Dancing Way' with Elena, accredited licensed instructor from Australia, now in Missoula MT.
Wu Tao intro series is a six week COURSE, this Dance Therapy brings you a choreographed gentle dance routine that will help you reduce stress, tension and blockages in your nerve system, in your body, and your mind. All movements will encourage you to work within your own abilities and adapt movements if you need to. Perfection of movement in healing dances is not what’s really important; letting go, embracing the music and the movements to find joy in the present moment is what matters most.
A Wu Tao HEALING Dance sessions will run for 6 weeks and it is nothing like you’ve ever experienced: combining traditional Oriental healing with the practice of dance and meditation, these classes will liberate you both physically and mentally. In 6 weeks you will learn 5 core dances core that are dedicated to a specific element of Mother Nature: AIR, WATER, WOOD, FIRE and EARTH.
Throughout the course Purusa's Wu Tao practitioner will help you practice techniques, great for aging, with gentle movements that will strengthen the body. Nurturing you to build relationships and create community!
The dances are easy to do, no experience necessary!

*Each session is designed to build on the previous session, do your best to make it to each one, (we understand how crazy life can get) it is easy to learn. No need to worry if you miss a session!
*Option to choose individual sessions that you can attend separately in advance!
In 6 weeks you will:
1. Learn to relax
2. Experience guided gentle meditation
3. Learn to connect your body, mind and soul to the seasons of Mother Nature through dance movements
4. Learn Air Dance, Water Dance, Wood Dance, Fire Dance and Earth Dance
5. Use journaling as a tool to process your feelings allowing yourself to 'let go' of whatever you are holding on to.
6. Stretch your body with very gentle 'no effort' stretches.
7. In the 6th sessions you will experience the silence dancing routine with everything you have learn.
