Combine strength and mobility in this 75 minute Muscles and Mobility workshop. You'll spend time safely warming up the body by flowing with a mobility mindset, followed by working on targeted strength movements, utilizing various yoga props and tools (similiar to a Muscles & Movement class). We'll wind things down with a mobility focused flow. Class will target full body movements. This workshop will challenge you, and then provide your body with some much needed (and well deserved) TLC through mobility and yoga.
An intro to basic aerial yoga inversions & a variety of standing stretches utilizing the hammock. We’ll cover modifications & tips to combat any dizziness that may occur. The workshop will conclude w/ savasana in the hammock.
Although inversion exercises are beneficial for perfectly
healthy people, they are not recommended for people with any of the
following conditions or ailments:
• High blood pressure/ Low Blood Pressure
• Serious spinal or neck injuries
• Glaucoma
• Pregnancy
• Heart conditions of any kind
• Epilepsy
*If you have one of these conditions, we require a doctor's note with permission to practice aerial yoga.
