Qigong (pronounced “chee-gong”) is an ancient Chinese practice, believed to be over four thousand years old. It uses various techniques, including movement, breathing, and standing meditation.
This 60 minute introductory session is about understanding and harmonising the flow of qi (vital energy) throughout the body, enhancing vitality and releasing tension from the body.
It is a practice that is accessible to people of all ages and fitness levels, and will incorpoarate a range from slow, meditative movements to more dynamic exercises.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR - Sarah Lim-Murray
Sarah is a London-based qigong teacher with a background in dance and yoga. Growing up in a Taoist family in Singapore, she has always been drawn to practices that nurture both body and spirit. She has trained in the Water Method under Paul Cavel since 2014, deepening her knowledge of movement and energy dynamics. Certified in medical qigong, Taoist Neigong and Tai Chi, Sarah offers private lessons, and workshops, empowering her students on a holistic path to well-being.
