The Yoga Anatomy series allows the yoga practitioner to gain a deeper understanding of the complexities and interconnections of body systems. These interconnections enable movement, thought, emotion, and regulation of physiologic and emotional responses to the varied stimuli that surround us. This series is divided into four, four-hour modules.
Module 1: Anatomy Overview, Part 1
Trainees will gain an understanding of the primary function of each of the body’s major systems and begin to explore the physical architecture of the body. This foundational knowledge of the body’s structure will be explored through the physical asanas.
