Song, Sound, and Breath Journey

Join us on Friday, October 18th, from 7-9pm for an evening of sound, song, breath, and freedom. I, Moses Love, along with my friend Carey Burns, invite you to experience a journey of letting go, flowing with the moment, and attuning to the sacred energy that surrounds and flows through us. We will begin by welcoming ourselves and everyone into the sacred space... Getting comfortable and gently tuning into our own instruments—our voices and heartbeats—through sacred sounds and humming. This practice will open the space for collective harmony, allowing each of us to express or simply listen. Whether you choose to participate or hold space in silence, you are welcome to honor your comfort level. Next, we will invite everyone to find a sacred spot to lay down and receive the healing vibrations of live music. Crystal Bowls, the Gong, Harmonium, Chimes, Drum, Didjeridoo, and my own voice will weave together, creating a rich soundscape for deep rest and reflection. Your breath, too, is part of this musical journey. Carey will guide us through a soothing breath meditation, allowing you to sink even further into the present moment and the sacred space we’re co-creating. As the evening comes to a close, there will be an opportunity for anyone who feels called to share their experience or reflections. Let this evening be a space of listening, releasing, and remembering.

My passion for mental health, intentional self-care, trauma informed care and a love physical movement brought me to yoga teacher training with Kristine Mast in 2022. This journey opened up an untapped layer in my heart that began an adventure exploring the 8 limbs of yoga and a passion for the stories behind the poses. Traditional Vinyasa teaching combined with breath work offered an opportunity to assist others to travel deeper into their own personal practice while making connections to the fundamentals. My own struggle with sleep and anxiety created a desire to understand how to support a decrease in symptoms through natural practices through yoga nidra and acupuncture. The success of this experience resulted in me becoming an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist with the 5 point auricular acupuncture and a certified yoga nidra guide. I have taught children as young as 3 years old movement and breath work, and groups of young adults to encourage self-care and mental health awareness. I’ve partnered my yoga knowledge with foundational social-emotional learning in the school systems. I offer both Yin and Vinyasa classes in the community, as well as, monthly workshops to support rest, relaxation, and an increase in sleep hygiene.

Yoga Basics - 4 Week Series

This 4-week series is designed for those who are interested in starting a yoga practice by learning the fundamentals first. Students will meet once for 4 weeks straight in a workshop style setting, along with getting a 4-week unlimited studio membership for all the regularly scheduled classes.   In this series, students will learn basic yoga postures and breathing practices as well as what to expect in a yoga studio setting. The focus will be on safe alignment rather than a “perfect looking posture." You will have the opportunity to ask questions in a supportive, safe environment. By the end of the series, students will have a working knowledge of many fundamental yoga postures and should feel confident moving into yoga classes in the studio or joining us safely from your home. *This is also a great series for those who have been practicing but want to revisit the fundamentals of basic postures.
