We will focus on forward bends, building upon the first two posture clinics in this series however, you do not need to attend the prior sessions to attend #3.
Forward bend anatomy, where to put your effort, how to perform forward bends safely and increase your ability as well as the purpose of the forward bend postures we practice will be discussed and practiced. Individual feedback and corrections will be offered.
Yoga is much more than postures. In this clinic we will we discuss what practice can mean for each of us and where our practice can take us in our health and wellness. After a warm up, we will introduce breathing practices. The breathing techniques we learn will be introductory, but can be quite profound when practiced regularly and have the potential to shift your practice within each class you take.
