
In this workshop, we will learn some of Rachel’s favorite skills taken from basic tumbling, to contemporary dance, break dancing & capoeira. We will learn different kinds of rolls, inversions, wheels, springs, & jumps. It is gentler on the body than power tumbling & uses techniques that can be done on the pole dance flooring with enough practice.
INSTRUCTOR BIO:
Rachel Randall has been dancing & doing acrobatics her whole
life from competing as a kid gymnast to dancing with the Seattle
Opera, to touring full time with tent circus shows. She has been
teaching circus arts since 2007 & dance since 1998.
WHO is it for:
Curriculum caters to intermediate level movers from any movement
background, but beginning (working on basic rolls) & advanced
(working on flips) are welcome too. Appropriate for tumblers, pole
dancers, dancers, aerialists & anyone who wants to do cool
things on the ground!
PreReqs: kick up to handstand & balance for 1 second.
