PERFORMANCE CLASS FAQS
What if I’ve never performed before?
There’s a first time for everything! This program will teach you
the ABCs of the stage, including terminology, industry standards,
performance techniques, and more. Your choreographer will work to
ensure you feel confident and ready for show day. Be sure to
register for a class at your appropriate level.
What if I’m not sure if the class is right for
me?
Each class has a specified level. If unsure, consult the
choreographer before signing up. Try attending one of their drop-in
classes to assess the level. Once committed, it’s important to
follow through, as your choreographer and fellow dancers will rely
on you.
What happens if I miss a class?
It’s your responsibility to catch up on missed material. You
can:
- Review filmed choreography from class.
- Practice with fellow dancers.
- Book a private lesson with your choreographer at their private
lesson rate.
Note: Missed classes are not eligible for credits, makeups, or refunds.
What kind of costumes will we wear, and how much will
they cost?
Costumes are chosen collaboratively by the choreographer and class.
Budgets typically range from $75–$100, though costs may vary.

Our show has been a sold-out event every year! This year, we

crew and independently. CDC provides FREE same-day rehearsal space
for performance classes (bookable by calling the studio the night
before or same day). Advance studio bookings are available for a
small fee.
