Family Intro/Beginner Aerial Hammock - Mar/Apr Term 2025
Mar 1, 2025 - Apr 27, 2025

For the first time, we are inviting families to learn aerial hammock together in this intergenerational class. Kids and Youth ages 7-14 can join this class with a parent, grandparent, caregiver, or other responsible adult to learn in a fun, collaborative, environment. Up to two kids or youth can join with each adult (if you'd like to request an exception to this ratio, please reach out to the studio before registering). This class will focus on Aerial Hammock as the primary aerial apparatus and will also feature play based warm-up and ground based skills and even some partner skills that families can work on together. Skills taught will be tailored to the age, ability, and experience of the students. No experience required.

Intro to Pole - Mar/Apr Term 2025
Mar 1, 2025 - Apr 27, 2025
New to Pole Dancing? This is where to start! Our introductory level will give you the perfect foundation of basic pole conditioning, floor work, beginner holds, and spins to get you started. These classes are fun and challenging. No previous pole dancing experience required!

What to Expect:
In the Intro to Pole level of our Pole Dancing curriculum, you will begin each lesson with a warm up and some fun floor work designed to make for great dance and transition elements in your pole routines, but also to build your strength for the pole work. You'll then spend the rest of each class learning the foundations of movement on and around the pole, starting from walking around the pole, and progressing to introductory strength and spin moves on a static pole. You'll finish off most classes by dancing it out where your instructor will lead you through some freestyle dance or basic choreography on the pole, followed by a short cooldown and stretch.

Intermediate / Advanced Pole - Mar/Apr Term 2025
Mar 1, 2025 - Apr 27, 2025

Intermediate/Advanced Pole

This class is ideally suited for students who have already completed at least one term of Intermediate Pole, however both levels of the curriculum will be covered in this class and new to Intermediate students are welcome.

Split Level Classes: This is a split level curriculum class which means there may be students practicing at both named levels of our curriculum. Students registering for split level classes should be aware that more independence will be required. All students in split level classes will receive individualized instruction at their own level, but should be prepared to work independently while the instructor works with other students at different levels.

Intermediate Pole: Taking it to the next level, students will evolve their inverted repertoire to include leg hangs, and our namesake move: the Butterfly. You'll learn spins that will make you feel like you're flying around the pole (Spiral, Twister, Cobra to name a few) and you'll even learn to lay back from a sitting position and hold on with just your thighs. WOW!

Advanced Pole:  Students should now be comfortable with Extended Butterfly and will begin learning even more advanced variations of this beautiful move. Aerial Inversions, Shoulder Mount, Helicopter, Superman and Hip Holds, Cupid, Figurehead, Genevieve, Dove, Shooting Star and Half Jade are just a few of the moves you will learn in this level.

There may be pole sharing in this class, no more than two pepole per pole.
