Birthing Naturally: Partner Supported Childbirth
Birthing
Naturally classes provide objective and non-judgmental class
instruction on the foundation of evidence-based research. They
prepare the expectant person and partner by encouraging them to
feel empowered, make informed decisions based on education and
scientific research, trust in one’s body, and surrender to the
natural unfolding of labor and birth. Classes are taught with a
light-hearted, caring, and evidence-based approach. Incorporated
with simple and thorough techniques that enable the birthing person
to channel one’s strength, confidence, and relaxed disposition when
preparing for labor and birth.

workshop, you can expect a light and fun
atmosphere with hands-on learning. It is designed for
families to learn useful tools and techniques that can help ease
labor, promote relaxation, build confidence and promote
labor progress.

You can bring something to take notes with if you’d like. You’ll
have the opportunity to practice what you learn and to ask
questions! This is an excellent workshop for families who
want a refresher, want more hands on
practice together and anyone who wants to feel
comfortable going into labor with a good set of tools in
their toolbag.
Yoga for Conception consists of a slow flow, with emphasis on
restoritive postures.
The goals of Yoga for Conception classes are reducing stress by
deepening and controlling the breath, stretching and opening the
pelvis, lower back, hips, groins, chest and shoulders.
Yoga is a great way to boost and balance the immune systeme. You
can increase the blood circulation and ensure that it reaches the
reproductive organs.
It help slow down and find ways to live more fully and in greater
comfort.
The following topics will be covered in the 3-week Yoga for Conception classes:
Week 1: Reducing stress by deepening and controlling the breath
with gentle movement Week 2: Yoga postures to support the endorcine
system and optimize blood flow to the pelvic region
Week 3: Reconnection with your body and reproductive system
