Dive into the Soul of Salsa with Chiara Tofani!

 

Join Chiara in exploring the essence of Salsa through Afro Cuban, Rumba, and Mambo techniques. This is the perfect opportunity for beginners to advanced dancers to refine their technique and infuse their dance with authenticity. Please note, students should have a solid foundation of Salsa (dancing at least 6 months).

FULL WEEKEND SCHEDULE:
Friday, April 18
Choreography Challenge (Advanced)
7:00-9:00pm Rehearsal
Optional performance same night at Baza Friday social (show about 11pm)

** Those registered will get the video ahead of time and will have the option to attend 3 practices led by Kristal to learn and practice the choreo.
Additional practices will be held on Fridays from 8:25-9:25pm on Mar 28, Apr 4 and Apr 11.

Saturday, April 19
1:00 - 2:30pm Open Level Afro-Cuban workshop (Intermediate)

2:45 - 4:15pm Open Level Salsa Fusion workshop (Intermediate/Advanced)

(recommended at least 6 months of Salsa dance experience)

Instructor: CHIARA TOFANI

Born in Anzio, Chiara Tofani is a professional Italian salsa dancer, know in the world for her unique style. Chiara started dancing at the age of 6, learning classical and modern dance and at the age of 13, she started dancing Afro Cuban folklor and Cuban Salsa.

 

Over the years, Chiara has continued to deepen her studies with masters such as Kirenia Cantin, Maykel Fonts, Fernando Sosa, Teresa Castaneda, Vanessa Lacedonia, Tania Cannarsa, Adolfo Indacochea, Leonardo Martinez Moya, Sergio Larrinaga, Franklin Diaz.

 

As Chiara's reputation soared, she embarked on a global journey, sharing her passion for salsa with audiences around the world.

 

Beyond the dance floor, Chiara Tofani has also become a respected instructor, sharing her expertise through workshops and masterclasses. Her teaching style, characterized by patience and precision, has inspired a new generation of salsa dancers to embrace the authenticity and cultural richness of this dance form.
