Lyra, Duo Lyra, and Duo straps!
About Sydney:
Sydney Wilson is an international aerial artist specializing in lyra and duo aerial. Sydney spent her childhood as a competitive dancer and cheerleader before discovering her thrill for aerial arts as an adult. Since then, she has performed around the world, bringing her distinctive style to stages such as the Nikulin International Circus Festival in Russia, Teatro ZinZanni, The Box NYC, Big Apple Circus, and more. Her career has carried her to audiences throughout Europe, the Philippines, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Hawaii, and beyond.
As one half of The Cienna Sisters, Sydney and her partner have developed and premiered a new duo straps act in Germany, adding it to their list of acts alongside duo lyra. Together, they continue to tour internationally, combining precision, personality, blonde hair flips, and a strong onstage connection.
Beyond performing, Sydney is an experienced aerial coach who enjoys helping students refine their technique and build confidence in the air. Her teaching emphasizes musicality, clean lines, and movement with clarity and rhythm, encouraging artists to connect their technique to the music as they develop their own style.
About Cassidy:
Flying Pole integrates pole dancing and aerial skills, offering a dynamic class focused on mastering aerial poses and transitions while enhancing strength and agility on the pole. The workshop covers fundamental techniques such as spins, climbs, inversions, and choreography. Whether you're a novice or a seasoned pole performer, this series is designed to cater to all skill levels.
Attire Suggestions:
- We suggest wearing shorts and a sports bra. More skin contact enhances grip on the pole, so avoiding loose clothing is advised.
Items to Bring:
- Remember to bring water and dry hands, such as pole grip chalk.
