Walk this path as Casey Bryan, the lead facilitator harnesses her nearly 13 years of experience teaching and mentoring yoga teachers to uncover your truth. Wade diligently through the rich history and evolved practices. Together we'll enrich our collective understanding of the holistic wisdom of this practice. Not just in the mind but in a felt sense of the body to really know. Whether you seek to move through life with a greater purpose, a lighter step or wish to share this work with the communities around you as a teacher, this training is sure to seep into your bones on a personal, interpersonal, and soul level.
This training will be elevated with applied specialized knowledge from local experts.
What you will learn
- The training meets the elevated 200 hour standards of Yoga Alliance
- Explore the rich history and evolution of ancient and modern yoga
- Learn over 74 poses including detailed alignment, variations, modifications, physical and energetic benefits, and contraindications
- Absorb tenants of pranayama including historical & anatomical context, sequencing, embodiment and cueing of 5 main pranayama techniques
- Uncover energetic body maps such as koshas, kleshas, chakras, nadis and prana vayus
- Elevate your understanding of key meditation terms and techniques to incorporate into your daily practice and/or teaching
- Undertake an in depth look at modern anatomy, physiology and biomechanics as it relates to yoga poses and yoga teaching
- Deeply reflect during this training to reveal your truest nature and most powerful presence
- Study an overview of ancient texts such as the Yoga Sutras, Yamas & Niyamas, Bhagavad gita and the Hatha Yoga Pradipika
- Practice real time teaching, implementing the techniques and wisdom gained throughout the training
- Understand the importance and techniques of methodology including voice, pace, cueing and class management
- Be thoroughly briefed on professional development and related professional organizations, marketing and the business of teaching yoga
- You will also receive a student yoga teacher training manual

You will also be expected to attend an average of 2 hours additional studio classes per week and you will be granted complimentary studio membership during the teacher training
