BACHATA SENSUAL FUNDAMENTALS WORKSHOP

Pre-requisites: Must already know your General Bachata Basics and be able to dance socially.

Bachata Sensual is a style of Bachata that was created by Korke & Judith from Cadiz, Spain.

It is a love story that unfolds on the dance floor" and thus is aesthetically beautiful to watch.

This Bachata Sensual Fundamentals course explores foundational techniques required for you to dance this beautiful style. You will learn to apply those techniques in different forms (open hold, close hold, shadow position, reverse shadow) and movements. We aim to train you how to dance organically, to master the cleanliness and beauty of the basics and you will get a chance to practice what you learn each class and get individual feedback from the instructors!

You do not need to register with a partner. We will be rotating partners in our classes starting in July 2021, however maks will still be mandatory. If you have a partner you can choose to tay with your designated partner. 

Jorelle and Monica have trained in Spain, US, and Canada with masters of bachata including Korke & Judith, Luis & Andrea, and Cristian & Gabriella. They are known for their connections, flow, and precision on the dance floor. In class, they prioritize proper, safe techniques. Their goal is to instil the ability to dance Bachata Sensual with anyone. Monica has a strong emphasis on fluid, elegant head movements and Jorelle focuses on creating the right movements to embody the changing energy of any song.
