To restore the Pitta balance, it is best to apply oils that stimulate sweating and have a cooling effect, such as jasmine; making it a perfect summer oil. Jasmine essential oil can help with insomnia and other sleeping problems. When used in aromatherapy, it can lower heart rate and promote calmness. Jasmine essential oil may also have a sedative effect on nerve activity, which may aid people who have difficulty falling asleep.
