“Begegnungen” is a modern, communicative course for adult learners which offers a fast and effective method for learning German.

The 8 chapters in the coursebook all follow the same structure and are divided into 4 sections.

The first section contains reading and listening exercises, dialogues and vocabulary and grammar exercises all related to the theme of the chapter.

This is followed by additional material on the topic which leads onto a grammar summary and further exercises to revise vocabulary and grammar.

The final section “Rückblick” summarises the material covered in all the previous sections, a verb list and a self-evaluation section.

The book also contains a multilingual glossary, a removable answer key and 2 CDs. Students can also access additional online exercises at www.schubert-verlag.de.
