Description
Your Nervous System is composed of two branches that work
together helping your body function both internally and externally;
Sympathetic (“Fight or Flight”) and Parasympathetic (“Rest &
Digest”)
However in the world we live in today with a “hustle”
mentality and frequently being faced with stress or fear on a daily
basis, many of us are constantly activating/staying in the “Fight
or Flight” side of our nervous system which in turn only causes
more dis-ease in life
During this 60 minute interactive workshop, students will be
learning different ways to utilize the Parasympathetic Nervous
System (PNS) so that you may create positive resonance within the
body and help relax once anxiety-inducing situations have
passed.
What to expect:
Some gentle yoga stretching + breathing and meditation
techniques explained and broken down so you can easily utilize them
on your own moving forward
By purposefully activating the PNS you can take advantage of
its natural cool-down effects and stop the cycle of chronic
stress!
