Description
Our arms are capable of an amazing variety of movements and ranges of motion. Climbing, throwing, dancing, chopping wood, hugging – the list could go on forever. This amazing movement potential originates in the shoulders. Even running well depends on good shoulder function! But many of us are living with limited shoulder function due to stiff, tight, or weak areas from chronic computer and phone use, or simply not giving our shoulders enough movement throughout the day. Come join this workshop to explore different ways to loosen, activate, and strengthen the shoulders so you can do more with your amazing upper body!
Bio: Briana Martinez is a movement coach, specializing in helping people feel more connected to their bodies and the environments that they move through. She is certified as a Restorative Exercise Specialist through Katy Bowman’s Nutritious Movement Institute, a MovNat Level 2 trainer, and yoga teacher.
