Join The BMF String Chamber
Ensemble 2024-25
This is the Advanced
Group. Meets Thursday evenings.
This class will meet once a
week for the better part of “the school year.”
(We set it to run consecutive
Thursdays Sept 19, 2024 through April 24, 2025. We left that extra
room at the end of the school year, knowing there will undoubtedly
be Mondays missed due to holidays or weather. Therefore, we'll have
the rest of April into early June to make up for any missed
days.)
Chamber Music Ensemble
– “Bach to Rock”
All players are welcome to join
BMF's String chamber music ensemble classes, as long as you have a
basic proficiency on your instrument and the ability to read
music.
There are two sections:
Advanced and Beginner.
This is the Advanced
Listing which meets Thursday evenings.
Repertoire is chosen by you,
the participants! We can pick a program that spans centuries – from
Bach, Beethoven, Mozart to Satie, Morricone, Bartok, even groups
like Coldplay or the Beatles…Use your imagination! There is
no limit on what we could play - baroque, classical, contemporary,
romantic, pop, original compositions. Prepare to work hard, learn a
lot, and really enjoy playing with your peers.
