A WORKSHOP FOR CHRONIC PAIN & ILLNESS

This workshop does not require any particular body position - it can be done lying down, sitting, shifting positions, standing, as needed by participants. The intention is to have connection with others, gain knowledge, and learn simple skills for working with the body.

The workshop will address:

1) The emotional, mental, social challenges of living with chronic pain/illness.

2) The latest research in pain science and psychology, looking at neuroplasticity and what this means for both structural and neural pathway pain - and how we can use this knowledge to work with our bodies and minds.

3) Meditation and Somatic Tracking for Being with Pain

4) Time for Q & A and meeting fellow participants.
