Stepping into your first yoga class can be intimidating. Not knowing what to expect. Unsure if you’ll be able to follow along with the poses. Worried you’ll get lost in the shuffle. And many yogis find they still feel a little unsure of themselves even after weeks or months of practicing. If this sounds familiar, this Yoga Fundamentals workshop is for you!
Yoga 101 is a 5 week workshop-style series designed to build your confidence and understanding of the fundamentals of vinyasa yoga. Each session will focus on three to four fundamental elements of the style of yoga you’re most likely to encounter in the US - vinyasa yoga. With at least two instructors at each session, you will learn modifications to make your practice more accessible or more physically challenging to meet your unique needs. Instructors will provide detailed one-on-one instruction with an emphasis on safety, alignment and technique. By the end of this series, you will be able to confidently attend any yoga class knowing you will both enjoy and benefit from your practice.
Each workshop sessions will include:

Three to four fundamental poses or movements reviewed in detail with instructor demonstration.

Two instructors at each session - ensuring each student gets personalized instruction and feedback.
