Ballplayer Strength Foundations
This session introduces young baseball and softball players to essential strength and conditioning principles. We focus on:
• Building overall strength and power
• Improving mobility and stability
• Enhancing rotational power for hitting and throwing
• Developing physical resilience to prevent injuries
Our program helps athletes:
• Perform better on the diamond
• Improve overall fitness for other sports
• Prepare for team tryouts
Through fun, age-appropriate exercises, players will learn the
basics of:
• Proper weightlifting techniques
• Core strengthening
• Flexibility and balance work
• Cardiovascular conditioning
This well-rounded approach sets a solid foundation for athletic development, helping young players become stronger, more agile, and better prepared for the demands of baseball, softball, and other sports.

This session is taught by Lyle Gadin, a certified trainer, and 27 year fitness industry veteran. Lyle is the co-owner of The Shed and has created and consulted on program design for gyms and training programs around the country. He certified through EXOS Performance Specialst, FMS L1 & L2, OnBASEU L1 Hitting, and TRX trained.
