Yin Yoga for ADHD Anxiety and Burnout: 8-Week Series – Cultivating Calm, Focus, and Emotional Balance
Overview:
This in studio (and online option) six-week Yin Yoga
series blends the grounding stillness of Yin with the liberating
energy of ecstatic somatic movement. Each session begins with
gentle, free-flowing movement to release built-up energy and
tension, creating space for deeper relaxation and focus during the
Yin practice that follows.
Designed for those navigating ADHD or anyone seeking greater calm, clarity, and emotional balance, this series offers a holistic approach to supporting the nervous system and fostering inner stillness.

- 6 x 60-minute guided classes combining ecstatic somatic movement and Yin Yoga

Series Focus by Week:
Week 1 – Grounding Through Movement and
Breath

Shake off mental clutter and physical restlessness through dynamic,
playful movement. Transition into long-held, supported postures

Stillness
Explore movement as a tool for emotional release, followed by Yin
poses designed to soften the heart and cultivate inner peace.
Week 4 – Enhancing Focus and Presence
Engage in focused, intentional movement to sharpen awareness. Yin
postures this week will center around deepening attention and
anchoring into the present moment.
Week 5 – Nervous System Reset
Experience the power of ecstatic somatic movement to shake off
stress and reset the nervous system. Sink into Yin postures that
nurture deep rest and relaxation.
Week 6 – Integration and Renewal
Celebrate your progress with a blend of movement, meditation, and
Yin. This final class integrates all elements of the series,
leaving you feeling balanced, calm, and reconnected.
Week 7 – Expanding Capacity for Stillness and
Focus
As the body becomes more familiar with movement and rest, we focus
on expanding your ability to stay present and grounded for longer
periods. This week introduces subtle ecstatic somatic movements to
enhance sensory awareness, followed by Yin postures that deepen
your capacity for sustained focus and mental clarity. Expect to
feel more anchored and resilient, with tools to manage
overstimulation in everyday life.
Week 8 – Integration, Reflection, and
Self-Compassion
In our final session, we honor the journey through movement,
stillness, and self-discovery. This class blends gentle, intuitive
somatic movement with restorative Yin postures that invite
reflection and self-compassion. A guided meditation will close the
series, helping you internalize the practices and carry them
forward. This week is about celebrating your growth, creating space
for gratitude, and anchoring into a sense of wholeness.
