40hr Fascial Yin yoga Certification Course | ONLINE OPTION
A personal and transformative exploration of the power of yin yoga seen through a lens of the fascial matrix.

This insightful training will bring a clear understanding to the approach, the effects and the benefits of yin yoga. Understanding the outcome of long-term stress on our systems, we will journey inwardly, exploring how a yin approach can be part of the solution to a much needed recovery period in our modern day stress paradigm.
•Are you a yoga teacher looking to go to the next level and broaden your teaching to be able to teach Fascial Yin with integrity, knowledge and confidence? This unique approach will give you all the in-depth tools you need to be a successful and profoundly effective yin instructor to keep your students coming back again and again.
•Are you a healthcare professional, body worker or energy worker looking to bring something new and different to your self-care practice and your patients/clients to help their healing journey? This study takes you on a deep dive in understanding fascia, embodiment, trauma, and yin yoga as a platform for healing in a wholistic approach that you will experience in your own body and be able to bring to your patients/clients.
•Are you a body that loves yoga or loves myofascial release and wants to expand further and deeply explore Fascial Yin? This course will give you a unique understanding of the many levels of healing that happen in the body in an easy to understand, practical and experiential way to help you in your own health and wellness journey.

Have a deep understanding of Yin yoga: its origins, what sets it apart from other yoga practices, and its importance for us as a society as well as for you as an individual.

Understand what fascia, biotensegrity and embodiment is and why it's important for healing and for yoga.

Experience fascia and fascial-based healing in your own body and other bodies

Experience Yin yoga practiced through a fascial framework

Gain an understanding of trauma responses in the body and why they are important both from a yogic philosophy as well as from a fascial framework.

Investigate the nervous system, stress paradigm, window of tolerance and polyvagal theories and how they relate to Yin yoga and Myofascial Release.

Explore almost 30 Yin poses in depth: anatomical considerations, many modifications and awareness to avoid injury.

Teaching practicum to understand how to put together a Yin yoga class using all the senses as well as how to transition through poses and create a cohesive class that your students will love and benefit from.

Practice grounding and breath work to look inward

Explore subtle anatomy through direct experiences of the energy body, the vayues, the koshas, the chakra system and its connection to fascia

Access deeper healing within your body/mind/spirit and new ways of exploring hidden parts of yourself and be able to incorporate some of these practices in your yoga and classes.

Own a comprehensive manual as a reference for the material above along with colour photos and descriptions of each yin yoga posture.
To sign up and follow along live from your own home you will need:
- A partner will be needed for first day of course for approx 2hrs specific time TBA closer to time
- A partner will be needed again for Teaching practicum which will occur the last Sunday of course time TBA
- email will be sent out, once registered, including online link for Zoom and for online link to Teachable for 10hrs of content to be completed prior to course start.
