Our classical mat Pilates teacher training guides students how to safely and effectively instruct a flowing and fun classical Pilates mat class for beginner, intermediate, or mixed level students. Our program is based on the original teachings of Joseph Pilates and all materials provided follow the integrity of his original method. We will break our mat training down into two weekends, both hosted at the beautiful Mind Garden Folsom:

March 22/23 - Weekend one Beginner Mat

March 29/30 - Weekend two: Intermediate Classical Mat

~What will you learn as Teacher Training Apprentices?

During your beginner weekend you will master your foundation of mat warm ups, beginner level exercises, and overall understanding of how to support the beginner Pilates student. During your intermediate weekend, you will learn the intermediate level exercises, including where to add them within the sequence of the beginner level mat as well as deepen and further develop your teaching skills.
