I’m Sonder Opia, a name chosen for it’s meaning to me as a dancer. Words designed to describe emotions we all feel.
Sonder: The realization that Every passerby is living a life as unique and complex as your own.
Opia: The intense sensation that Looking in someone’s eye is simultaneously invasive and vulnerable.
In 2018 after having my 3rd child I began my dance journey. I was almost 30 and had no acrobatic or dance background.
I fell in love with the empowering, energizing, and acrobatic art.
I’ve been competing, learning, and creating non stop ever since and I can’t wait to share some of my passion with you.

Workshop description:
Choreography class that is unchained by style boxes. Sonder’s signature style is a faster paced old school style with hard hitting new school tricks and transitions.
Please bring Heels and knee pads, an open mind, and a sassy vibe!
Prerequisites: Comfortable in pole heels. 6 + months pole experience preferred.
