Join Emily for the first in her Guided Meditation Series!
In this offering, you will begin with gentle movement, then settle
into a comfortable position for Emily's calming guidance. Whether
you're a seasoned meditator or just starting out, this 45-minute
session is the perfect opportunity to cultivate calm, clarity and
inner peace.
Meditation is a practice that helps focus our attention and observe
thoughts without judgment. A consistent meditation practice has
many health benefits, including improved sleep, better management
of anxiety and depression, improved memory, concentration and
focus.
This session will focus on Progressive Relaxation. This is a
powerful technique bringing deeper awareness into the body in order
to release physical tension. This practice involves intentionally
squeezing and releasing major muscle groups to identify and
alleviate stored tension, promoting deep relaxation and
calmness.
Guided meditations provide a focal point, making them ideal for
beginners or those who struggle with meditating in silence.
