With four years of research experience at Mt. Sinai, Daphne brings valuable insights into the connection between sleep, brain health, and cognitive function. At Rutgers, she is part of the Rutgers Sleep Lab, led by Dr. Andrea Spaeth, a widely published sleep scientist. Dr. Spaeth’s research focuses on how sleep influences weight regulation, caloric intake, energy expenditure, and cardiometabolic health, with the goal of developing effective sleep-based interventions for diverse populations.
