Small group Postnatal Pilates Mat class (max 8 ppl) using small props including weights, therabands, Pilates Circle, small soft ball and booty bands.
This modified pilates class is suitable for new mothers from 6 weeks postpartum.
Classes focus on deep core and pelvic floor activation and strength, mobilising of stiff/tight joints and muscles, postural awareness, stretching tight muscles and strengthening of the core, lower and upper body in a fun and welcoming environment suitable for all levels of fitness and pilates experience.
Modifications are provided for injuries or movement restrictions. Class suitable for post C-Section, De Quervains (mommy wrist) lower back pain, carpal tunnel.
All equipment is provided. Please bring water and anything else to make yourself and your baby comfortable for the class!
