Yoga Basics: A 4-Week Series
Discover the foundation of yoga and build a lasting practice
Are you new to yoga, or looking to refine the fundamentals? This 4-week series is designed for beginners or anyone interested in revisiting the essential principles of yoga. Each week, we’ll break down key elements of a yoga practice, including alignment, breathwork, and mindfulness, to help you feel more confident and comfortable on the mat.
What to Expect:

Week 1: Introduction to Yoga Postures – Learn basic yoga poses (asanas) with a focus on proper alignment and safety. We’ll explore standing poses, seated stretches, and gentle floor work.

Week 2: Understanding Breath & Flow – Dive into the connection between breath and movement, and how to incorporate mindful breathing (pranayama) into your practice. We’ll also explore a gentle flow of postures.

Week 3: Core Strength & Stability – Strengthening your core is key to both building a solid yoga foundation and supporting your everyday activities. In this session, we’ll focus on key poses that engage and strengthen the core, helping to improve balance, posture, and stability.

Week 4: Relaxation & Recovery – In our final class, we’ll explore the restorative side of yoga. Learn techniques for deep relaxation, mindful stretching, and how to incorporate restorative poses to release tension and restore energy. This session will focus on the importance of rest and recovery in a well-rounded yoga practice.
