Nathan DavidDescription
Help support Mike Cepis (the brother of one of our riders) through his fight with MDS. Mike, was recently been diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS), a rare type of blood/bone marrow cancer. He is just 30 years old, married to his loving wife, Liz, and is the proud father of two beautiful children—Jameson, who is 3 years old, and Mila, who will turn 2 in June.
This past fall, our family’s world was turned upside down when Mike received his diagnosis. Since then, he’s been undergoing various treatments and doctors’ appointments to prepare for the next step: a stem cell transplant, which is scheduled for March. This transplant is his best chance for recovery, but it comes with a long road of challenges ahead.
We are asking for your help during this incredibly difficult time. Medical bills are already piling up, and with the added stress of frequent hospital visits, time away from work, an abundance of cleaning supplies, 10+ monthly prescriptions, and the financial strain of supporting a family of four, it will become even harder for Mike and Liz to keep their household afloat financially.
The funds raised here will go directly toward helping
with:
- Gas money for the many trips to and from the hospital each
day.
- Medical expenses related to the stem cell transplant and ongoing
treatments.
- Household bills to support Mike and Liz and their two young
children during his recovery period.
- Daily living expenses so that the family can focus on healing and
spending quality time together, rather than stressing about
finances.
- Any deep cleaning services, air purifiers, cleaning supplies,
etc. that will be necessary to keep Mike safe when he is able to
return home.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a significant difference in their lives as they navigate this challenging journey. If you’re unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this page with your network to help spread the word.
We have been overwhelmed by the amount of support offered to us during this time and could not imagine a better, more caring community to be surrounded with. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers!
Thank you so much for your love, support, and generosity. Your kindness means the world to us during this time.

Special Instructions
The ride will begin promptly at the start time. If this is your first ride with us, you must arrive 15 minutes early so the instructor can fit you to the bike and provide first ride instruction. Unfortunately if you arrive later than 15 minutes early, we will need to reschedule your first ride because we won’t have enough time to set you up safely.
Wear gym clothes. We provide you with towels and cycling shoes
or cages. Bring a water bottle if you would like, but we also have
some for sale in studio. If you have cycling shoes with LOOK Delta
and SPD cleats, you are welcome to use them but they are not
required.

I know they would have a difficult time asking for financial assistance, so I would like to rally around them, and I truly can’t think of someone more deserving than my big brother.
