join our sangha for a special online
meditation program. Whether you’re interested in building
a
meditation practice or simply
learning more about this 2,600-year-old tradition, this program
is
designed to support
you.
Meditation practice is strengthened
through the power of community. While personal practice
is
important, there are three key
elements that help keep your practice sustainable: knowing
how
to practice, committing to it, and
connecting with your own wakefulness, trusting it moment
by
moment.
In this program, you’ll
learn to:1. Notice Your Experience: When you
become distracted, you’ll practice returning to
the present moment.
2. Contemplate Life’s Path:
Meditation allows you to develop a mindful
relationship
with your life experiences. This
contemplative approach helps you connect deeply with
your
personal journey.
3. Embrace Community: Meditating
with others creates a sense of stability,
purpose, and support. Even in an
online space, we can foster this sense of community
together.
These three elements—awakening
(Buddha), the path (Dharma), and community
(Sangha)—are called the Three Jewels
in Buddhism. You are invited to join us and build a
consistent meditation practice
guided by Cheryl, an experienced Buddhist student and
teacher.
Cheryl holds certifications in
Mindfulness, Tonglen, and Metta meditation and continues
her
advanced studies with respected
teachers in the Buddhist tradition.
